Interlochen Center for the Arts is looking to hire Stitcher/Costume Assistants for the 2019 camp season. The dates of the contract are 6/18/19-8/6/19 and the stipend for the entire duration of the contract is $1,500. Housing is provided for the dates contracted (early arrival/late stay requests, if space is available, will be paid in full by the employee). All meals are included with your agreement- breakfast, lunch, and dinner.Major ResponsibilitiesThe Stitcher/Costume Assistant will assist in the construction of all necessary costumes and support backstage needs for theatrical performances. The Stitcher/Costume Assistant will help with the following functions:
- Construction and alterations of all costumes
- Serve as a wardrobe assistant for the run of show for the High School Musical production
- Stitcher/Costume Assistants will need to use their best judgment when deciding on sewing techniques to use

- Must have good time management skills to meet deadlines.
- Stitcher/Costume Assistants will need to know how to operate sewing machines, gravity feed irons, and vacuuming iron boards
